Hi! I am Niilanjana De, an artist, graphic designer, brand communication professional, and Esoterica practitioner.
Life is a blank canvas painted with lively and dull colours by a brush called ‘Time’! These colourful brush strokes enhance the enigmatic charm of the world unknown! My expedition too had begun with Time blending numerous shades on life’s canvas. The metamorphosis has turned out to be a beautiful journey with a sense of self-reliance at the end.
I was born in Barackpore, a city in the Indian state of West Bengal on 13th March 1976. After staying in Patna city for 2.5 years, my parents moved to Syria in 1978. I had spent my kindergarten days in Aleppo and Tartus (Syria) and returned to India in 1982.
I completed my schooling at Calcutta Girls' High School, Masters in Arts (English Literature), University of Calcutta; Post-Graduation Diploma in Marketing Management, IGNOU; Certified Digital Marketing Masters (CDMM) from Digital Vidya; Advanced Diploma in Computer Arts, EDIT Pvt Ltd and a course in Commercial Arts.
Acquiring academic and professional qualifications to that of taking up a corporate job at the age of 23, life had been an adventurous journey for me so far. After acquiring more than two decades of experience in the space of Graphic Designing & Corporate Brand Communication in a reputed Indian business conglomerate, I have now decided to fulfil my dreams.
I am also a digital influencer with Intellifluence (USA), and a blogger on Speakingtree (India) and Medium.
Nature inspires me to follow my heart’s yens passionately. It made me traverse the path that always unexpectedly emerged out of oblivion. A yearning for creation led me into the space of Painting, Graphic Designing, Communication and New Age technology at an early age. Life had been a roller coaster ride for over four decades till now, but it has gifted me rich experiences along with countless blessings and lessons.
The soul always desires to understand the true purpose of our life! It is our innate instinct that tells us to break free from stagnation and pursue our unfulfilled desires. It is only then that the painting of our ‘Life’ can truly become a masterpiece.

A video profile of an artist-cum-graphic designer, a practitioner of Esoterica and a brand communication professional...
We get easily bogged down with worries and sorrow. It only adds to our restlessness leading us to reckless actions. The moment we dissociate ourselves from our surroundings to align with the cosmic silence, it becomes easy to remain consciously detached; introspect and yet be compassionate.
It is better to release the people and incidents that no longer serve any purpose in our lives. Yes, occasionally, we need to look back to learn the lessons gained from the past experiences, and then tread an unfamiliar path.
Acceptance of life’s challenges gives us the confidence to move ahead discreetly like a shark! We can do so by building a strong healthy ego. And as we go along, we should hold our head high and move ahead with grit and determination.
Our life at the microcosmic level is all about emotions, wealth, power, success and physical death. But when we perceive life at the macrocosmic level, we see Man as a mere mortal whose soul transmigrates from one lifetime to another.
‘Success’ is a relative term. It is based on our principles and varies from man to man. But we often make the mistake of associating ‘Success’ with ‘Power’, which is a transitory affair that 'Time' has with Man. That is why I always prefer to be firmly rooted in the ground while chasing my dreams and goals.
I believe in a simple lifestyle. My day starts before dawn with meditation, chanting and yoga. A healthy diet keeps me fit and fine throughout the day while going about with my daily work.
My ultimate wish is to serve mankind through my work and leave behind an indelible mark in millions of minds and hearts. And it should also stand the test of time...
